http://www.nepalguideinfo.com/ghorepani-poonhill-trek/  “Nepal Poon Hill
trek with private guide Sanjib”

Description: 5 of 5 stars
Three of us (family,
ages 60, 40 and 20) did the Poon Hill (3210 m) trek in 4 days with private
guide Sanjib  and 1 porter, in April
2016. Maybe should have taken 5 days - no problem going up, but some downhill
sections were hard on my knees (I'm the 60 year old). Guide was great - porter
was 60 he was superman! Go trek the Nepal Mountains, even if it hurts sometimes
you won't regret it. Take note of the time of year you trek. We went in April,
great for walking but not the best for haze and view, though you could be lucky
if there has just been rain. Our guide Sanjib said October at the end of the
wet season, is the best for no haze and clear views, but after the wet season
some tracks can be very difficult and slippery.

Would recommend Nepal and Kathmandu and Pokhara  in particular as a destination for adventure.
Lots to do, lots to eat, and friendly people.
